To start, blot the stained area with a cotton ball or soft cloth to absorb as much of the liquid as possible. You can then spot treat the area with one of the following methods:

Liquid Detergent Method

  1. Mix 2 tablespoons of liquid laundry detergent with 2 cups of warm water in a bowl.
  2. Dip a soft cloth or cotton ball into the solution and dab onto the stain.
  3. Continue applying solution and lightly scrubbing the area until the stain is removed.
  4. Rinse the stain with clean warm water and let the flip flops air dry.

Lemon Juice and Baking Soda Method

  1. Make a paste using 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
  2. Spread the paste over stain and gently rub it into the fabric.
  3. Let the paste sit for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Lightly scrub the area with a soft cloth or toothbrush.
  5. Rinse the stained fabric with warm water and let air dry.

For harder to remove stains, you can try a vinegar and water solution. Mix 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water, apply it to a cloth and dab onto the stain several times. Rinse the fabric with water and let it air dry.

These tried and tested methods are sure to have your flip flops looking fresh and stain-free again in no time!
