The first step is to soak the stain in a solution of warm water and dish soap. Make sure the water isn’t too hot as this could cause shrinkage or discolouration. Leave the stain to soak for 10-15 minutes.
Once stain has been soaked, take a clean cloth or towel and use it to gently scrub the stain. If the stain is particularly stubborn, you can use a scrub brush to help remove it. Make sure to be gentle, as scrubbing too vigorously can damage the fabric.
Rinse the area with lukewarm water until all signs of the soap are gone. Then, dab area with a clean cloth or towel to absorb any excess water.
Use a mixture of white vinegar and water to treat the area. Apply vinegar directly to stain and let it sit for approximately 10 minutes. This will help break down the stain and make it easier to remove.
Finally, wash the cargo pants on a delicate cycle with cold water. Hang them to air dry and enjoy your wildflower free cargo pants!
