What You Will Need

  • White vinegar
  • Dish soap
  • Cloth
  • Bristle brush
  • Sponge

Step 1: Apply White Vinegar

Saturate a cloth with white vinegar and gently dab it over the surface of the stained area. Give the vinegar some time to work into stain and make sure not to rub it in too aggressively as it can damage the fabric.

Step 2: Soak in Dish Soap

The next step is to mix a few drops of dish soap in a bowl of lukewarm water and soak the affected area in it. The soap will help break down the stain. Allow the boots to soak for at least 30 minutes, then use a bristle brush to scrub away at the stain.

Step 3: Rinse with a Sponge

Finally, use a damp sponge to rinse away the soap and vinegar mixture. Once the boots are completely dry, stain should be gone!
