As soon as you realize you have a wildflower stain, act fast! Do your best to scrape away as much of the flower matter as you can, then dab cold water with a paper towel or clean cloth and gently dab. Resist the urge to rub or scrub, as doing so can help set the stain further into the fabric.
After you have dabbed the stain with cold water, the next step is to soak blazer in cold water overnight. Fill a bucket or bowl with cold water and add 1 cup of white vinegar. Submerge your blazer and allow it to soak for a minimum of 8 hours. This will help break down the stain, making it easier to remove.
Once the blazer has soaked overnight, the final step is to wash the blazer in cold water. Do not use hot water, as this can cause stain to set even more. Place the blazer in a sink full of cold water and add a tablespoon of laundry detergent. Allow the blazer to soak again for 15 minutes before washing it with gentle motions. Once finished, hang it to dry.
Following these 3 simple steps will help remove wildflower stains from your blazer and have it looking like new in no time.
