The first thing you should do when you notice wildflower stains on your apron is to rinse the area with cold water. This will help to remove any dirt, pollen, and debris that may be on fabric. Make sure water is cold, as hot water could set stain in place and make it harder to remove.
Once you’ve rinsed the apron, you can move onto applying a laundry stain remover. Choose a product that is specifically designed for removing stains, not just a cleaning product. These products should be applied directly to the stain and then left on for a few minutes. Follow the instructions on the back of bottle carefully.
After applying the stain remover, put apron in the washing machine and wash it in warm water. Be sure to add detergent to wash cycle to help break down the stain. For extra-tough stains, try using a laundry additive such as oxygen bleach.
Once the apron has been washed, it is important to air dry it to avoid setting stain. Hang the apron up to dry and let it air out completely before wearing it again. If there are still traces of the stain after it has dried, then you may need to repeat the process.
Cleaning wildflower stains from an apron doesn’t have to be difficult. With the right supplies and know-how, you can easily remove the stains in no time. Just remember to always rinse area first, apply a stain remover, and then wash it in warm water. Finally, be sure to air dry the apron before wearing it again.
