Before attempting to clean the wildflower stains from your Adidas shoes, it's important to prepare them properly. Start by removing all laces and any other removable parts. This will give you greater access to the section of the shoe that is stained, as well as prevent any removable items from becoming damaged during the cleaning process. Once laces have been removed, turn the shoes upside down and tap their soles on the ground to remove any debris that might be caught in tread.
Once the shoes are prepped, you can start working on the actual stain. Begin by creating a cleaning solution to tackle the wildflower residue. There are several options here, but a classic option is a mixture of warm water, mild detergent, and white vinegar. Mix the ingredients together in a bowl until they are combined, then use the solution to scrub the affected area using a soft sponge or cloth. Work the solution into the affected area and scrub away any remaining residue. Rinse away the mixture with warm water, then let shoes air dry.
Once the shoes are finished drying, put laces back in place, and make sure there are no lingering stains before wearing them again. For extra precaution, you can also apply a protectant spray or cream to help shield against future staining. With these steps, you should be able to keep your Adidas looking its best.
