What You'll Need

  • Baking Soda
  • Dish Detergent
  • White Vinegar
  • Soft Cloth/Sponge

Step 1: Soak the Toy in Baking Soda & Water

If toy is safe for getting wet, mix a solution of ½ cup of baking soda and two cups of water in a sink or basin. Put the toy in the solution and let it soak for 10 minutes. The baking soda helps lift the wine stain from the fabric.

Step 2: Rub the Affected Areas with Dish Detergent & Vinegar

Mix one part vinegar with four parts dish detergent. Using a soft cloth or sponge, rub the mixture into the affected areas. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then rinse off with warm water.

Step 3: Wipe Toy with a Cloth

Once the stained areas have been treated, wipe toy down with a soft cloth to remove any residue. Let it air dry.

Conclusion

Cleaning white wine stains from toys doesn't have to be a difficult task. Just follow the steps above and your toys will be as good as new in no time.
