Easy Trick: How to Clean White Wine Stains from Thong in No Time

White wine spills on a thong are all too common! Whether you were just kicked out of a bar or ruined your favorite panties, white wine stains can be a real doozy. With the right technique, however, you can get rid of stubborn white wine stains with minimal effort.

What You'll Need

• A dry towel
• A sink filled with cold water
• natural laundry detergent with enzymes and oxygen bleach–avoid bleaches containing chlorine
• Stain remover stick, spray or wipes
• Safety pins

Instructions

1. Act as quickly as possible. The quicker you address the stain, the better the results will be.
2. Blot the stain with a dry towel to absorb as much of the wine as possible. Do not rub or scrub stain, as this can set it further.
3. Prepare a sink filled with cold water and add a few drops of natural laundry detergent with enzymes and oxygen bleach.
4. Soak the thong in the water for up to 30 minutes.
5. Remove the thong from the water and blot dry with a clean dry towel.
6. Treat the remaining stain with a stain remover stick, spray, or wipe.
7. If necessary, rinse the thong in cold water performing the same blotting step as before.
8. Let the thong air-dry completely before wearing.
9. Attach any safety pins to ensure that the thong is held together properly.
