Sometimes, white wine stains can surface on Teneriffe lace without warning. Don’t fret — all you need is a few common household items to restore its original beauty. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Baking soda
  • White vinegar
  • Lemon juice
  • A soft-bristled toothbrush
  • An old towel

Now that you’ve assembled the necessary ingredients, here’s what you’ll do:

  1. Mix the baking soda with lemon juice and white vinegar to create a paste.
  2. Place the stained portion of the lace onto the old towel.
  3. Using the soft-bristled toothbrush, apply the paste onto stained area.
  4. Allow the paste to sit for 15 minutes before removing with a damp cloth.
  5. If needed, repeat the process until stain is gone.

Once you’re finished, be sure to hang up your Teneriffe lace in a place away from direct sunlight or heat, as any type of extreme temperatures will cause the fabric to weaken and deteriorate over time.
