If you spill white wine on your t-shirt, act quickly and blot the stain with a clean paper towel. Do not rub the stain because this can spread stain further. Instead, put pressure on the stained area to absorb as much of the liquid as possible.
Pour some club soda onto the stain. Let the club soda sit and soak in for a few minutes before blotting with a clean cloth. Repeat this step several times until you see that the stain is starting to fade.
To start removing the stain, pretreat fabric with a detergent. If you have a stubborn stain, use a prewash stain remover. Allow the detergent and prewash stain remover to sit for several minutes.
Once you've pretreated the fabric, it's time to launder your t-shirt. Put the shirt in the washing machine with a mild detergent and warm water. Make sure to check the garment care label for instructions about which water temperature might be best for your piece of clothing.
Oxygen bleach is great for removing tough stains. You could choose to add ¼ cup of oxygen bleach to the warm water before laundering your shirt. You could also pour a bit of oxygen bleach directly onto the stain and let it sit for 30 minutes before laundering.
After laundering, take a look at the shirt to see if the stain has gone away. If you can still see traces of the stain, repeat the laundering process with a bit more detergent, prewash stain remover, or oxygen bleach.
