Things You'll Need
- White Vinegar
- Paper Towels
- Cold Water
- Mild Detergent
Instructions
- Blot stain with a paper towel. Do not rub the stain, as this will only make it spread.
- Pour a few drops of white vinegar onto the stain. Allow it to sit for a couple of minutes.
- Rinse the stained area with cold water to remove any remaining vinegar.
- Apply a mild detergent to stained area and scrub it gently. You can use a soft-bristled brush if necessary.
- Rinse the stained area with cold water again.
- Dry the stained area with a paper towel.
- If the stain is still visible, repeat steps 1-6 until it is gone.
Tips
- Be sure to act quickly when you notice the stain. The longer it sits, the more difficult it will be to remove.
- Always blot stain instead of rubbing it, as this will prevent the stain from spreading.

- Do not use hot water or heat to remove the stain, as this may cause it to set and become permanent.
