Removing White Wine Stains from Slippers in a Few Simple Steps

There's nothing like ending the night with a delicious glass of white wine, but accidents can happen! Don't worry though – cleaning up those red wine stains from your slippers is easier than you might expect.

If the stain is still wet, soak it with salt and then dab with a cloth. Then, dip a cotton swab into rubbing alcohol, and apply it directly to the stain. Rub swab over the stain until it starts to disappear.

If the stain has already dried, mix hydrogen peroxide and baking soda together to make a paste. Apply the paste to stained area and let sit for several minutes. Then, use a soft brush to rub the paste into stain until it lifts away.

Next, fill a basin with a detergent and warm water. Submerge the soiled are and remaining paste, and let the fabric soak for at least 15 minutes. To finish, rinse off area with cold water and hang to dry.
