If the sleepwear material is made of cotton or a similar fabric, the best way to remove white wine is to combine detergent and white vinegar. Make a solution of one tablespoon of detergent and one tablespoon of white vinegar in one cup of lukewarm water, and mix it until it is well combined. Once you have prepared the mixture, apply it directly to the stain and let it sit for at least 15 minutes. Then, rinse the clothing with cold water.
For light-colored sleepwear, chlorine bleach may come in handy when cleaning white wine stains. Mix ¼ cup of chlorine bleach with one gallon of cold water and stir until it is evenly distributed. Soak stained pieces of clothing in the solution for at least 15 minutes. Rinse clothing with cold water afterwards.
Hydrogen peroxide is also a great option if your sleepwear is not cloth-based or light-colored. Create a solution by mixing ¼ cup of hydrogen peroxide with one quart of cold water. Apply the solution directly to the stain and let it soak for 15 minutes before rinsing the clothing with cold water. Make sure to check colorfastness of the fabric first before using this method.
For tougher stains, try spot treatment with rubbing alcohol. Pour some rubbing alcohol onto a clean cloth or sponge, and gently dab at the stained area until the stain fades away. Make sure to do a colorfastness check to prevent discoloration of the fabric before applying this method. After the stain has faded, rinse the clothing with cold water.
