When it comes to cleaning white wine stains from skirts, the most important thing is to act fast. The sooner you treat stain, better the result will be. Here are some steps to take:

  • If the stain is still wet, try to blot out as much of wine as you possible with a paper towel or cloth.
  • Once the stain is dry, mix a solution of dish soap and cold water and spray it onto the stain. Allow the soap to sit for 5-10 minutes before rinsing it off.
  • If the stain remains, mix a solution of 2 parts white vinegar and 1 part water and spray it onto the stain, then rinse with cold water.
  • Alternatively, a mixture of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide can work wonders to remove white wine stains. Mix equal parts of each, and apply to stained area. Let it sit for a few minutes and then rinse with water.
  • If any of the above steps do not work, try dabbing the stain with rubbing alcohol and then rinsing with cold water.
  • Finally, launder the skirt with warm water and detergent, and check for any remaining stains.

By following these steps, white wine stains on skirts can quickly disappear!
