3 Easy Steps to Remove White Wine Stains from Silk Taffeta

Step 1: Blot the Stain
As soon as you spill white wine on your silk taffeta, grab a clean towel and quickly blot the area. Don't rub fabric or you could spread the stain further.
Step 2: Use Detergent and Cold Water
Mix a few drops of detergent with cold water and gently dab the wine stain with the solution. Continue dabbing until the stain is gone. Avoid rubbing the fabric, as this could cause the stain to spread.
Step 3: Rinse and Dry
Once the stain is gone, rinse area with cold water and dry it with a towel. To be extra safe, hang the garment in a well-ventilated area to ensure that the detergent has been completely removed.
