When you first detect a white wine stain on your silk organza fabric, act fast. You want to attempt to remove the stain immediately and avoid allowing it to set in. Gently blot stain with a clean, white cloth and try to pick up as much of the liquid as you can without pressing and spreading the stain further.
Next, pre-treat the stained area with a laundry stain remover or a mild laundering solution. Apply the cleaner directly to the stain, rubbing it gently into the fabric. Let the product sit for at least 10 minutes before proceeding to the next step.
Once you've pre-treated the stained area, launder fabric as you normally would, following the manufacturer's specified washing instructions. Be sure to double-check that the water temperature you're using is suitable for the fabric and use a detergent that's designed for delicates. When the cycle is done, hang the garment to dry.
