The first step is to quickly grab a paper towel or cloth and gently blot the stained area. This will help absorb the excess white wine.
Using a small bit of detergent, begin to dab the stained area with a damp cloth. Do not scrub too harshly or else the delicate fabric may tear.
Run warm water over the stained area to rinse away any remaining detergent or wine residue. Blot with a cloth to dry.
Mix one part vinegar and two parts water in a bowl, and let the stained fabric soak for about 10 minutes. Then, rinse the fabric with cold water and blot dry.
You can either hand wash the stained area or machine wash on a cold setting. Make sure to turn the fabric inside out before laundering.
