White vinegar is one of the most effective solutions for getting out white wine stains. Simply submerge the stained clothing in a pot of boiling water with a cup of white vinegar added. Let mixture simmer for 30 minutes, then turn off the heat and let the clothing cool. The vinegar and hot water will help to lift and break up the stain. When the clothing has cooled, rinse it with cold water and launder as normal.
Another excellent solution for tackling white wine stains is baking soda. Start by wetting the stain with cold water, then pour baking soda directly onto the affected area. Rub the baking soda into the stain for several minutes until the stain is mostly saturated. Let baking soda sit for one hour, then rinse the clothing with cold water and launder as normal.
Peroxide is also a useful product when it comes to cleaning white wine stains. Start by wetting the stain with cold water, then pour 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide onto the affected area. Allow the peroxide to sit on the clothing for around 30 minutes before rinsing with cold water. Finally, launder as normal.
Dish soap is also handy when removing white wine stains. Simply mix a few drops of dish soap into a bowl of cold water. Dip a soft cloth into the soapy water and dab at the stain. Rinse the clothing with cold water and launder as normal.
