Whether you’ve accidentally spilled white wine on your rash guard or it has been stained from a night out, getting it out of the fabric can be surprisingly easy. Here are the steps you need to take to get your rash guard looking like new again.
As soon as you notice a white wine stain on your rash guard, use a clean white cloth to blot up as much of the liquid as possible.
Once you’ve blotted the area, mix up a solution of water and mild soap and pour it onto the stained area. Use a soft brush to gently scrub the area. Rinse the rash guard with cold water and repeat until the stain is gone.
If the stain persists after pre-treating with soap, apply a commercial stain remover to the affected area. Then wash the garment according to the instructions on the label.
To avoid any further staining, you should always wash your rash guard separately from other clothing. Use the gentle cycle and cold water for best results. Additionally, add a cup of white vinegar to the wash water to help remove any remaining odors. After washing, hang the garment up to air dry.
By following the steps above, you can easily remove white wine stains from your rash guard and keep it looking like new. With a little elbow grease and the right cleaning supplies, you can make sure your rash guard always looks its best.
