Use a paper towel to blot up as much of the wine as possible. Apply pressure to ensure that you are absorbing all liquid that you can get. You may need to use several paper towels for this step.
Mix a solution of dishwashing detergent and white vinegar. Using a damp cloth, dab the solution on the stain and leave it for about fifteen minutes. This will help break down stain.
Sprinkle baking soda over the stain and using a scrub brush, scrub the area gently. Be careful not to scrub too hard as this could damage the fabric.
Rinse the area with warm water and then blot it dry with a paper towel.
If there are still some stubborn stains remaining, dip a cotton swab into hydrogen peroxide and carefully dab the remaining stains. Leave the peroxide on the stain for a few minutes and then rinse it off with warm water.
Finally, wash the fabric according to the care instructions on the label. This will help ensure that any remaining residue is fully removed.
With these 6 easy steps, you can quickly and easily remove white wine stains from polyester fabric. Just make sure to follow the care instructions on label and you should be able to get rid of any pesky stains.
