As soon as possible, grab a dry cloth and blot up as much of the white wine stain as you can. Try not to rub the stain in, as this will only cause it to spread and set. Try blotting gently in circular motions.
Mix together equal parts white vinegar and baking soda to create a thick paste. Spread the paste over the stain and work it into the fabric using your fingers. Let the paste sit for 10-15 minutes.
Thoroughly rinse the area with cold water. Blot away any excess moisture with a paper towel. The stain should be significantly lighter or even gone completely.
If the stain is still lingering, apply a small amount of dishwashing liquid directly to the stained area. Rub the liquid into the fabric in a circular motion and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then, rinse area thoroughly with cold water again.
Once the stain is gone, launder the skirt as usual according to the fabric care instructions. Air-dry the skirt, looking for any signs of the stain returning.
Never do laundry again. Save time for things you ❤️
