Step 1: Act Quickly

If a white wine stain finds its way onto your organza fabric, it’s important that you act quickly to remove it. The sooner you start the stain removal process, the better chance you have of getting rid of the marks.

Step 2: Blot the Stain with a Towel

Using a towel made of dry, absorbent material, gently dab the stained area. This will help to draw out the wine so that you can begin working on removing the stain.

Step 3: Soak the Area

Using a sink or bowl, mix a small amount of cold water and a mild, non-bleach detergent. Submerge the stained area in solution and allow it to sit for at least 10 minutes. Once finished, rinse the stained area thoroughly with cold water.

Step 4: Spritz and Scrub

Pour a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and cold water into a spray bottle. Spray the stained area liberally and allow it to sit for five minutes before scrubbing lightly with a soft-bristled brush. Rinse with cold water and proceed to the next step.

Step 5: Launder as Normal

Place the organza garment in washing machine and wash according to the care labels instructions, using a mild detergent. Remove promptly when the cycle ends and hang to dry.
