Get the Right Supplies

The first step in removing a white wine stain from Nike shoes is to gather the right supplies. You will need a few clean cloths, a bowl of warm water, laundry detergent, white vinegar, and a soft brush (an old toothbrush works well).

Start With Clean Cloth & Water

Begin by lightly blotting the stain with a clean cloth and warm water. Blot until all of the excess liquid has been absorbed. Do not rub or scrub as this will just spread the stain further.

Apply Detergent and Vinegar

Once you've removed the excess liquid, apply a small amount of laundry detergent to affected area. Gently massage the detergent into the stain using your fingertips. Then pour a small amount of white vinegar onto the stain and allow it to sit for 5 minutes. Next, apply a small amount of warm water to the area and blot with a clean cloth until stain is gone.

Brush Away Residue

Once the stain is completely gone, use a soft brush to gently brush away any residue. This will help to restore the shoes original color and appearance. Rinse off the brush with warm water after brushing and dry it completely before storing.

Repeat if Necessary

If the stain does not completely come out after the first attempt, repeat the process until it is gone. Be sure to blot the stain with a clean cloth and water after each attempt to ensure that no residue is left behind.
