To clean a white wine stain from a Lacoste garment, you should first dab the affected area with a damp cloth and pat it gently to absorb as much of the stain as possible. Be sure to work quickly, as waiting too long can cause white wine stains to set in and become harder to remove.
Next, create a cleaning solution by mixing equal parts liquid laundry detergent and warm water. Dip a clean cloth into the solution and use it to blot the stain. Continue to blot until the stain has been lifted. Then, rinse stained area with warm water to remove any residue. Make sure all of the cleaning solution has been washed away before allowing the garment to dry.
If the stain remains after washing, you may need to try a few other methods. One option is to make a paste out of baking soda and water, then apply it directly to stain. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then use a damp cloth to gently scrub the paste away. You can also try using a white vinegar solution or rubbing alcohol for tougher stains.
It is possible to remove white wine stains from delicate fabrics like Lacoste, but it takes time and patience. Experiment with different cleaning solutions and techniques until you find one that works for your specific situation.
