The key to removing a white wine stain is to act quickly. Begin by dabbing the stain gently with a clean dry cloth to pick up as much of liquid as possible. Then, sprinkle the stain with club soda. Allow it to soak into fabric for a few minutes before blotting it up with another dry cloth.
Once the majority of the liquid has been absorbed, it's time to pre-treat the stain with laundry detergent. Apply a small amount of detergent directly to the stain, and let it sit for about 10 minutes before rinsing it off with cold water.
After pre-treating the stain with detergent, it's time to rinse and wash your joggers. Fill a sink with cold water and add a capful of mild detergent. Submerge your joggers in the sink, and agitate the fabric gently with your hands. This will help loosen and lift the stain.
Allow the joggers to soak for at least 15 minutes before draining the water. Gently squeeze excess water out of the fabric, and transfer the joggers to your washing machine. Wash them according to the care label instructions. Once they've been washed, hang them up to dry.
