Step One: Gently Blot the Stain

To start, use a clean cloth or sponge to lightly blot stain. Be careful not to rub the stained area, as this could spread the stain further.

Step Two: Prepare a Detergent Solution

In a bowl or basin, mix together ¼ teaspoon of an enzyme detergent with a cup of lukewarm water. An enzyme detergent is best because it has special ingredients that help break down the stain molecules.

Step Three: Soak the Stained Headband

Once you have mixed the detergent solution, submerge the stained headband into the mixture. Make sure that the affected area is completely submerged. Allow the headband to soak for approximately 15 minutes.

Step Four: Rinse, Then Air Dry

After the allotted time, use a clean cloth to lightly rinse away the detergent solution from the headband. Gently squeeze out any excess moisture, but be careful not to wring the fabric. Lastly, hang the headband to air dry.
