The first and most important step to removing a white wine stain from Gucci is to lightly blot and soak up as much of the liquid as possible. Blot any excess liquid with a clean cloth or paper towels, or press fabric gently to absorb the liquid.
Once you have blotted the excess liquid, dampen the stained area with cold water in order to prevent the stain from setting. Carefully dab the water onto the fabric using a clean cloth, taking care not to spread the stain further.
Next, apply a small amount of dish detergent directly onto the stain. Gently rub the detergent into stain using a soft cloth. Allow the detergent to sit for several minutes in order to penetrate fibers of fabric.
Rinse the stained area with cold water until all of soapy residue is gone. Be sure to rinse thoroughly, as any remaining residue can cause further staining.
Finally, wash stained area according to the instructions on the care label of your Gucci item. Make sure to use a mild detergent and cold water, and hang the item to dry.
