Removing white wine stains can be tricky, especially when material is something delicate like gloves. Luckily, with the right steps and materials, those pesky stains can be taken away quickly. Here’s the best way to go about cleaning white wine stains on gloves:

Step 1: Act Quickly

The quicker you act, the easier it will be to remove the stain. Use a damp cloth or paper towel to blot area before the wine is absorbed. Do not rub or scrub, simply blot.

Step 2: Prepare a Cleaning Solution

Mix together one teaspoon of liquid dishwashing detergent and one cup of warm water. You can then use the solution to sponge the stained area. Again, make sure not to rub.

Step 3: Rinse with Cold Water

Use cold water to rinse off the soap and any remaining residue. Change the water frequently to avoid spreading the stain further.

Step 4: Air Dry

Once the stain has been removed, hang the gloves out to dry in an area with good ventilation. Direct sunlight should be avoided as this can cause discolouration.
