  • Paper towels
  • Dish soap
  • White vinegar

Steps to Remove White Wine Stains from Duchesse Lace

  1. Start by blotting the stain as soon as possible to absorb as much of the liquid as possible. Use paper towels to blot the stain but do not press down hard.
  2. Pour club soda over the stained area until it is fully saturated and let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix 1 part dish soap with 1 part white vinegar and apply mixture to the affected area. Use a soft cloth to spread the solution in a circular motion.
  4. Rinse with cold water and repeat if necessary.
  5. Finally, allow the fabric to air dry completely before wearing.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always pretest any cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area of the fabric first to ensure colorfastness.
  • Be sure not to scrub too hard or fabric may be damaged.
