How to Get Rid of White Wine Stains on Your Dress
Accidentally spilling white wine on your favorite dress is a nightmare but don't worry! There are few methods you can try to remove the stain quickly and get your dress as good as new.

- Right away, blot the stain with a clean cloth or paper towel to soak up the excess liquid.
- Mix a solution of one teaspoon of white vinegar and one teaspoon of mild liquid detergent in about two cups of warm water.
- Apply the mixture to the stained area and let it sit for about fifteen minutes.
- Rinse the area with cold water and repeat steps 2-4 if necessary.
- Launder dress as soon as possible using cold water and the gentle cycle on your washing machine.
- Make sure your dress is completely dry before wearing again.
Tips
- Try a chlorine bleach alternative like oxygen bleach.
- Always test the cleaning method in an inconspicuous area first to make sure there is no discoloration.
- If the fabric is delicate and can't be machine washed, take it to the dry cleaners.
