berry Trying to remove white wine stains from your favorite chinos may seem quite challenging. We understand! But never fear, it’s a lot easier to do than you might think. Here are the steps you’ll need to take:
  • As soon as possible after staining, dab at the affected area of your chinos with a damp cloth or sponge.
  • Once the stain has been adequately blotted up, sprinkle some talcum powder onto area.
  • Apply some isopropyl alcohol to stain and gently dab with a clean cloth.
  • Allow the area to dry completely.
  • If the stain persists, mix a few drops of dishwashing liquid into some warm water and apply to the area with a damp cloth. Rinse thoroughly with cold water.
  • Finally, if the stain still remains, pre-treat the area with a laundry detergent that has a built-in stain remover and wash according to fabric instructions.
It’s important to note that if you’re not sure which method to use, always refer to the label of your item of clothing before attempting to clean it. Different fabrics can react differently to certain cleaning methods, so it’s best to take extra care with clothing items that require special care.
