Removing White Wine Stains From Briefs

  1. Blot the stain with a damp, white absorbent cloth. Don’t scrub or rub the stain as this may cause it to spread.
  2. Create a cleaning solution of dish soap and cold water. Mix well so that the soap is dissolved.
  3. Dip a clean cloth or sponge into cleaning solution and gently blot stain.
  4. Rinse the area with clean cold water. Allow it to sit for 5-10 minutes before rinsing it again. This will help to clear away any remaining soap residue.
  5. If the stain remains, make a paste of baking soda and water. Place the baking soda paste onto the stained area and let it sit for several minutes.
  6. Gently rub the paste into the stained area. Be sure not to scrub too hard as this may cause stain to spread.
  7. Rinse the area with cold water. Repeat as needed until the stain has been removed.
  8. Allow the briefs to air dry.

Tips For Preventing White Wine Stains On Briefs

  • Always make sure to blot up any spills immediately. The sooner you can get to them, the better your chances of avoiding permanent staining.
  • If you are wearing white briefs with white wine, be sure to use a coaster to prevent spilling it onto your clothing.
  • Don’t wear briefs that are made out of fabrics that are more likely to stain, such as cotton or linen.
  • Always keep a bottle of white wine stain remover on hand in case of emergency.
