Step 1: Soak

To start, soak the stained area of the bra in cold water for at least 15 minutes. This will help loosen up any dried-on patches and begin to dissolve stain.

Step 2: Pre-treat

Once item is soaked, you can use a pre-treatment solution to target and remove the stain. This can be a laundry detergent with enzymes or a specifically-made stain remover. Gently rub the pre-treatment into the stained area using your fingers or a soft-bristled brush and let sit for 5 minutes.

Step 3: Wash

When the pre-treatment has had enough time to work its magic, it’s time to launder item. Set the washing machine for a delicate cycle and use cold water. Add a mild, gentle detergent that has been specially formulated for use on lingerie. When the cycle has finished, hang the item up to air dry. Do not put bras in dryer.

Step 4: Repeat

If the stain hasn’t completely disappeared after the first wash, repeat steps 2-3 until stain is gone.
