White wine stains on fabric can be tough to get rid of, especially if they've been there for a while. While it's tempting to get out the bleach, this is not recommended as bleach can discolour and deteriorate the fabric fibres.

Here are five steps to help remove white wine stains from fabric:

  1. The first step is to blot the stain immediately with a damp cloth or paper towel to absorb as much of liquid as possible. This will help prevent the stain from setting.
  2. Mix one teaspoon of liquid dish detergent and one cup warm water in a bowl. Dip in a clean cloth and wring out until it's damp.
  3. Gently rub the stained area with damp cloth for at least five minutes.
  4. Rinse the cloth and then repeat steps 2-4 until the stain is gone.
  5. Finally, launder the item with cold water.

If the stain has been present for some time and these methods aren't working, try using a solution of equal parts vinegar and water. Be sure to rinse the area thoroughly afterwards. Once the stain is gone, wash the item as normal and allow it to air dry.

By following these simple steps, you'll be able to remove white wine stains from your bandanas with ease!
