Removing White Wine Stains from Abercrombie & Fitch

  1. Immediately blot stain with a thick absorbent cloth. Do not rub or press down to avoid spreading or setting stain.
  2. Mix 1 teaspoon of liquid dishwashing detergent with 1 cup of warm water.
  3. Dip a clean white cloth into the detergent solution.
  4. Blot affected area with the solution-soaked cloth. Be sure to frequently change the cloth pieces for clean and effective stain removal.
  5. Rinse the area with lukewarm water and keep blotting until stain is completely gone.
  6. To disinfect and deodorize, mix equal parts white vinegar and lukewarm water. Blot the fabric again with this solution and let it sit for 30 minutes.
  7. Rinse off the vinegar solution with lukewarm water. Repeat as needed.
  8. Let the fabric air dry for an hour.
  9. Once fabric is dry, treat affected areas with a commercial spot remover.
  10. Machine wash according to garment instructions.

  • If stain persists after all the steps mentioned above, try soak stained area in a mixture of 1-part white vinegar and 2-parts water for up to 30 minutes.
