Before You Begin
Before you begin cleaning your wrap dress, you should do a few things:
- Put on rubber gloves.
- Put down a layer of plastic or old newspaper. This will help protect surface beneath your dress.
- Do a colorfast test on a discrete part of your wrap dress. Get a damp cloth and put a few drops of cleaning solution on it, then dab the cloth on the inside seam of your dress. If the color comes off onto the cloth, the cleaning methods described below may not work.

Once you're ready to get started, here's how to go about cleaning your wrap dress:
- Start by blotting the area with cold water and a clean white cloth.
- Rinse off the area with cold water again. Avoid rubbing the area as this can cause the stain to spread.
- Mix equal parts white vinegar and water and use a cloth to apply the mixture to the stain. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes.
- Rinse the area with cold water again. Repeat steps 2-4 until stain is gone.
- If the stain persists, mix a teaspoon of laundry detergent in two cups of cold water and use a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub the area. Rinse with cold water and repeat until the stain is gone.
- Once the stain has been removed, lay your wrap dress flat and air-dry.
