The first thing to do is to blot up as much of the vomit from your tuxedo as you can. Do not rub or scrub the stain, as this will push more of the vomit deeper into the fabric. Once you have blotted up as much as you can with a paper towel, rinse the area with cold water.
In a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon of liquid dish detergent, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, and 2 cups of cold water. Stir until the detergent and vinegar are completely dissolved.
Gently dab the cleaning solution onto the stain using a clean cloth or sponge. Focus on area around the edges of the stain first to dilute the vomit, then proceed to the center area. Do not rub or scrub the stain; simply dab and let the cleaning solution work its magic.
Once the area has been doused with the cleaning solution, rinse the tuxedo with cold water. You may want to use a spray bottle for large stains. You may need to repeat Steps 3 and 4 several times before the stain is fully removed.
Once you have finished rinsing the area, allow it to air dry completely. Do not use a clothes dryer or an iron on the area, as these can set the stain and make it much harder to remove.
