Start by gently pressing a cotton cloth or paper towel onto the soiled area to remove as much of the vomit as possible. Do not rub or scrub the fabric, this can cause damage to the material.
Mix a tablespoon of liquid detergent, like dishwashing liquid, and two cups of warm water in a bowl. Gently dab the mixture onto stained area.
Let the detergent solution soak into fabric for 20 minutes. After, rinse the area with cold water to flush away any remaining soap residue.
Now, place the tights into a washing machine set to a gentle cycle with cold water. Make sure to use a mild detergent specially made for delicate fabrics.
When tights have been properly washed, let them air dry. Do not put them in the dryer to avoid damage to the fabric.
