Instructions

  1. Use a spoon or spatula to remove any solid pieces of vomit from the lace
  2. Soak the stained area in cool water for about 30 minutes
  3. Make a cleaning solution: mix one quart of cool water, one tablespoon of liquid laundry detergent and one teaspoon of white vinegar
  4. Dip a soft-bristled brush into the cleaning solution and apply it directly to the stain
  5. Gently rub the fabric in a circular motion to remove the stain
  6. Once the stain is gone, rinse the lace with cool water and allow it to air-dry

Tips

  • Be sure not to rub too hard when applying the cleaning solution as this can damage the lace.
  • If possible, test the cleaning solution on an inconspicuous part of the lace before applying it to the stained area.
  • For tough stains, you may need to repeat the process several times.
  • For stubborn stains, use a tougher stain remover (such as Oxyclean). Be sure to check the label to make sure it is safe for delicate fabrics.
