Step 1: Blot the Stain with Damp Towels

The first step in cleaning a vomit stain on Tencel is to soak up as much of the liquid as possible. Start by blotting the area with damp towels to absorb the vomit.

Step 2: Apply a Spot Cleaning Agent

Next, apply a spot cleaning agent to the stain. Make sure to read directions on the bottle to find out if the cleaner is compatible with Tencel.

Step 3: Wash on the Gentle Cycle

Once spot cleaner has had time to work, machine wash the fabric on a gentle cycle using cold water. Do not use hot water, because it can cause the stain to set permanently.

Step 4: Dry on Low or Air Only

After washing, tumble dry the fabric on low or set it to the air only setting. This will help to ensure that the stain is fully removed before it sets.

Step 5: Check for Remaining Stains

Finally, check the fabric for any remaining stains. If the stain is still visible, repeat steps 2-4 until the stain is completely gone.
