First, scrape off as much of the stain as possible using a butter knife or spoon. Make sure to not rub the stain in further by being gentle when taking it off. Next, soak the dress in cold water for 15 minutes. While the dress is soaking, make a paste of 4 tablespoons of white vinegar and 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Stir until the paste has a consistent texture.

After 15 minutes, rinse dress with cold water and apply the paste to the stain with a dry cloth. Gently rub paste into the stain, working up a lather, and let sit for 10 minutes. Rinse the dress one last time before washing it in warm water with laundry detergent. Finally, hang the dress up to air dry.

These simple steps will help to remove vomit stains from your favorite summer dress. With a little effort and patience, you'll be able to have your dress looking brand new in no time.
