First, carefully remove as much of the vomit as possible using a spoon or some soft cardboard. Be sure to move in one direction only, so as not to rub the vomit further into the fabric. Also, use as little force as possible to prevent any damage to delicate suede.

Next, create a cleaning solution of one tablespoon of dish soap, one tablespoon of white vinegar and two cups of cool water. Use a soft cloth to apply it to the stained area, blotting gently. If you have access to them, leather wipes will also do the trick. Avoid rubbing the area as this could cause more damage.

Once you have blotted the vomit stain with cleaning solution, rinse with a damp cloth and then pat dry with a clean towel. Finally, allow the material to air-dry, away from direct sunlight or excess heat.

If the stain still remains after trying these steps, you may need to resort to professional cleaning. This is particularly important for more expensive items of clothing, as further attempts to clean stain yourself may cause more harm than good.
