What You'll Need

  • Liquid laundry detergent
  • Baking soda
  • White vinegar
  • Dish soap
  • Old toothbrush
  • Clean rags

Step 1: Scrape Up the Vomit

Start by scraping up as much vomit as possible with a spoon or spatula. Be sure to get all of the chunks off.

Step 2: Pre-treat the Stain

Once you've removed as much of mess as possible, pre-treat the stain by pouring a few drops of liquid laundry detergent on the area. Allow it to sit for 5-10 minutes.

Step 3: Make a Cleaning Solution

In a separate bowl or cup, mix equal parts baking soda, white vinegar, and dish soap. This will create a powerful cleaning solution.

Step 4: Scrub the Stain

Using an old toothbrush, scrub the stained area with the cleaning solution you just made. Be sure to rub the area in a circular motion to work the solution in deep. Allow it to sit for 5-10 minutes.

Step 5: Rinse and Dry

Rinse the area with warm water and pat it dry with a clean rag. Repeat Steps 4 and 5 if necessary.

And You're Done!

Your slippers should now be free of vomit stains. Be sure to air dry your slippers before wearing them again.
