What You'll Need

  • Gallon of lukewarm water
  • Mild detergent
  • Towel
  • Sponge or washcloth

Instructions

  1. Blot up as much of the vomit as possible using a dry towel.
  2. Mix a solution of lukewarm water and mild detergent in a bucket or large bowl.
  3. Submerge the stained area of the fabric into the solution. Make sure not to rub the stains, but gently agitate solution with your hands.
  4. Rinse the fabric with clean, lukewarm water until all detergent residue is gone. Squeeze out excess water.
  5. Lay the fabric out on a dry towel and allow it to air dry.

Tips

  • Do not use hot water when washing delicate fabrics.
  • Do not rub the stains vigorously as this can cause damage to fabric.
