What You'll Need

  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Washing machine
  • Dryer

Step One: Wipe Away Surface Level Vomit

With a damp cloth, wipe away the surface level vomit from your purse. If there is any remaining residue, put some white vinegar on a cloth, dip it into the liquid, and rub onto the remaining hard-to-clean spots.

Step Two: Make a Baking Soda Paste

Create a paste by mixing equal parts of water and baking soda together and apply it over the areas that are heavily soiled with vomit. Gently scrub the area for about 10 minutes and then leave the paste to sit and dry for another 10 minutes.

Step Three: Rinse and Wash

Once the baking soda paste has dried, use warm water to rinse it off and wipe down the entire purse. Machine-wash the purse using gentle detergent and warm water. If the stains still remain, repeat this step.

Step Four: Dry and Iron

After the purse is washed, dry it in the dryer. If the stains still remain, review your washing instructions and iron over the affected areas while the fabric is still slightly damp.
