Step 1: Scrape Away Vomit Bits

Use a putty knife to carefully scrape away any solid bits of vomit from surface of the pavers or concrete. This may not always be necessary since some of the vomitus may have dissipated or disintegrated over time. But it's a good thing to do when the mess is still fresh.

Step 2: Soak Up Vomit Liquid

Use a dry cloth or paper towels to absorb as much of the vomit liquid as possible from the pavers or concrete. When possible, use several layers of cloth or towels to soak up as much liquid as possible.

Step 3: Clean with Detergent and Water

Mix a mild detergent with warm water and use a scrub brush to agitate mixture on the surface of the pavers or concrete to remove any remaining vomit residue. Rinse surface with clean water and let surface air dry.

Step 4: Disinfect

Spray the surface with a disinfecting cleaning solution, such as Clorox or Lysol, to ensure that all bacteria and germs are eliminated. Let surface dry completely before using.

Conclusion

Follow these four steps to safely and effectively clean vomit stains from pavers and concrete. With a little patience, your outdoor hardscaping will be free from nasty messes in no time.
