Vomit stains are often overlooked when it comes to outdoor furniture, but they can be an unwelcome sight. If you've ever encountered these stains, you know they can be difficult to remove. Fortunately, there is a simple and effective way to get rid of them.
First, you'll want to prep the area for cleaning by removing any excess vomit or other debris. Gently scrape any remaining chunks off with a flat surface, such as a spatula. Next, mix one part vinegar to four parts warm water, and apply mixture to the stain. Allow the mixture to sit for 10-15 minutes in order to break down the stain particles.
Once the stain has been allowed to soak into fabric, scrub the stained area gently with a bristled brush. Be sure to use only short and gentle strokes so as to not damage the material. After brushing, rinse with cold water and pat dry with a soft cloth.
If the stain remains, try a mixture of one part detergent and two parts hydrogen peroxide. Apply this mixture in same manner as vinegar mixture, and allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes before rinsing. Repeat this process until the stain is completely gone.
By following these steps, you can quickly and easily remove vomit stains from your outdoor furniture. In no time you'll be able to enjoy your furniture again without worrying about unsightly stains.
