The first step to removing vomit from organza is to absorb as much of the vomit as possible. Use paper towels to soak up as much of vomit as you can. If possible, use colored paper towels instead of white ones, as the colored paper towels are less likely to leave behind any color residue.
Next, mix one cup of white vinegar with two cups of warm water in a bowl or pitcher. You can also add a few drops of laundry detergent to the mixture, as detergent helps break down the stain.
Using a clean sponge or cloth, soak up the cleaning solution and blot it onto the vomit stain on the organza. Allow it to sit for a few minutes, then rinse it off with cold water.
Once stain has been rinsed off, it's time to apply some baking soda. Sprinkle about a tablespoon of baking soda over stain, and gently rub it into the fabric with a damp sponge. Let it sit for another few minutes, then rinse it off with cold water.
If there are still any traces of the stain remaining, you can use hydrogen peroxide to get rid of it. Dilute some hydrogen peroxide in a bowl of warm water, dip a cotton ball in the mixture, and dab it onto the remaining stain. Let it sit for about 30 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water.
Once all stains have been removed, you can launder the organza normally. Put it in the washing machine, using a mild detergent and cold water. Hang the organza up to dry afterwards, and you're done!
As you can see, cleaning vomit stains from organza isn't as difficult as it may seem. With these easy steps, you can quickly and easily get rid of those pesky vomit stains so you can enjoy your organza fabric again.
