Using a clean cloth or paper towel, blot out as much of the vomit as possible. Make sure to work from the outside of the stain inwards, so that the vomit doesn't spread further.
Next, you'll need to pre-treat the area with a mild detergent. Follow the instructions on the detergent and use a soft bristled brush to scrub the stain gently.
Put your midi dress in the washing machine with the detergent you used to pre-treat the area. Choose the cold water setting and a gentle cycle. Once the cycle is finished, take the dress out and hang it up to air dry.
If the stain persists after washing, you can use a stain remover specifically designed for fabric. Again, follow instructions on product and apply it to the affected area. You may need to repeat this process a few times if the stain is still visible.
If all else fails, you may need to call a professional for help. A good dry cleaner will be able to safely and effectively remove the vomit stain from your midi dress.
Removing vomit stains from your midi dress doesn't have to be a daunting task! Just follow these simple steps and you'll be able to get rid of pesky vomit stains in no time.
