Eliminating Vomit Stains on Traditional Hanbok Clothes

Vomit stains can be an unfortunate consequence of an otherwise enjoyable event. If these spills occur on one of traditional Korean garments known as a hanbok, removing them can be especially tricky. Follow the steps in this article to learn how to clean a hanbok that has been stained with vomit.

What You Will Need

• Baking Soda
• Hydrogen Peroxide
• White Vinegar
• Cotton Balls
• Spray Bottle
• Water

Instructions

1. Mix equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and water in a spray bottle. Spray the solution onto the vomit stains.
2. Gently rub the affected area with a cotton ball.
3. Create a paste by combining baking soda and white vinegar. Rub this paste over the stain.
4. Allow the paste to remain on the fabric for 10 to 15 minutes.
5. Rinse the area with lukewarm water and gently rub the area.
6. Lay the fabric flat outside to air dry.
